Dibrugarh University has released the official notification of Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) 2020 for the admission into various Post Graduate Programmes of Dibrugarh University and its Affiliated and autonomous colleges. These courses include Master’s in Arts (MA), Master’s in Science (MSc), Master’s in Commerce (MCom), and M.Ed. under Dibrugarh University. Candidates who passed/ appeared/ appearing the 6th semester BA, BSc, BCom examinations can now submit their application through the online portal for this entrance examination.

Dibrugarh University PG Entrance Test 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Master of Arts (MA) Courses:
Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Science (MSc) Courses:
Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Commerce (MCom) Courses:
Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Speciality/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Note:
a. Candidates appeared/ appearing in the 6th Semester B.A., B.Sc., B. Com Examinations, 2020 and waiting for their results are eligible to appear. in the DUPGET 2020 and can get provisional admission if selected.
b. Candidates appeared/ appearing in the Final Semester Examinations and waiting for results but have backlog in 2nd and/ or 4″ Semester Examinations are also eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2020 and can get provisional admission if selected.

DUPGET 2020 Exam Details
a) The DUPGET shall be of 100 Marks and of 2 (two) hours duration.
b) It shall be conducted in a single paper of the concerned subject containing 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions carrying 1 (one) mark each.
c) The Question Paper shall be in English excluding the language subjects.
d) There shall be a provision of negative marking of .25 (point two five) mark for incorrect response to a question.
e) The candidate shall be required to appear the DUPGET in the OMR Sheet and the evaluation process shall be done by the automated electronically operated system.
f) The DUPGET score shall be valid for admission in the current academic session 2020-2021 only.
DUPGET 2020 Application Fee
The applicants shall be required to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 500/- only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of form. No other mode of payment is accepted.

DUPGET 2020 Admit Card
On submission of the Online Application Form by an applicant, an Admit Card for appearing in the DUPGET 2020 with a Unique Roll Number shall be generated. The Candidates shall have to take a print out of the Admit Card to produce before the officials on the Day of the DUPGET 2020.
