1. Dean/Director
No of Posts: 09 [UR]
1. College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, Tripura
2. College of Community Science, Tura, Meghalaya
3. College of PG Studies in Agril, Sciences, Barapani, Meghalaya
4. College of Agriculture, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh
5. College of Veterinary Sc. & A.H, Jalukie, Nagaland
6. College of Horticulture, Thenzawl, Mizoram
7. College of Horticulture, Bermiok, Sikkim
8. College of Food Technology, Lamphelpat, Manipur
9. CAU Headquarters, Imphal, Manipur
Essential:
(a) Master’s Degree in any discipline including basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
(b) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in agriculture and allied sciences.
(c) A minimum of 15 years of experience in teaching/research/extension education/administration with at least 3 years as a Professor or equivalent position. The experience should be relevant to the position concerned with administrative experience.
(d) Experience in guiding students at Master’s and Doctoral levels.
(e) Published work in the form of at least 10 scientific papers and journals of repute with five and above NAAS rating.
Desirable:
(i) Experience in guiding Post Graduate/Ph.D. research work.
(ii) Evidence of demonstrated scientific leadership with administrative experience relevant to the position.
2. Registrar
No of Post: 01 [UR]
Essential:
(i) Post Graduate Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade; and Ph.D. in any discipline of agriculture and allied basic sciences.
(ii) At least fifteen years of experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent/Associate Professor or equivalent, of which 8 years should be in Associate Professor or equivalent grade with experience in educational administration.
3. Comptroller
No of Post: 01 [UR]
Essential:
(A) Chartered Accountant
Or,
(i) At least second class post-graduate related to Finance Management; and
(ii) Must have passed SAS examination conducted by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India/ State Finance Department/Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
(B) Must have 12 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in financial management/administration out of which, he/she must have five years of experience as Accounts Officer/Deputy Registrar or equivalent in Government office/institution preferably a University.
Age Limit: The age of superannuation for Deans & Director is 65 years and 62 years for Registrar and Comptroller. The appointment of Dean, Director of Research, Registrar, and Comptroller shall be as per University rule.

The duly completed application form with a prescribed fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PWD) should be submitted on or before 31.01.2021. Payment of the fee may be made through State Bank Collect SBI (payment guideline may be downloaded from website cau.ac.in).
