Details on NID Jorhat Recruitment 2021:
Master Model Maker & Trainer
No. of Post: 01 (One)
Educational Qualification: Degree/Diploma in a relevant field. Educational qualification may be relaxed for deserving candidate(s).
Experience: Minimum 20 years of hands-on experience in a relevant field. Association with reputed organization/university/educational institute is preferred.
Duration: The appointment shall be purely on a contractual basis initially for a period of 1 year, which may be extended further on mutual agreement.
Remuneration: Shall be commensurate with experience and expertise.
Age: Upper age limit 50 years.
Role and responsibility may be as follows:
1. Lead the workshop as the overall in charge.
2. Set up the machines in the workshops.
3. Train the junior technical and design instructors who may be appointed in the workshop.
4. Prepare sample models in multiple materials as reference works for the students.
5. Undertake design development of various jigs & fixtures suitable for model making.
6. Be a guide and mentor for the students during the model making & prototype development phase of their projects.
7. Establish the standards of product development and execution with due emphasis on quality and detailing.
