Top banks job

1. RBI Grade B

The person holding these officer post is at the top. Also one has to work hard and make better preparation as the exam conducted for this post is one of the hardest bank exams in India.

The work of RBI Grade Officer is to work on the management of accounts, currency issues, and circulation, etc.

The qualification required for this job: must posses 60% marks in class 10th, 12th and graduation.
The salary: 77,000.

2. RBI Assistant

Next is also from Reserve bank of India (RBI) with an Assistant post as an entry-level job.

The work of RBI Assistant includes File work that is the maintenance of ledger, balance tally, etc, banking document verification, data-entry, looking up to financial stability, etc.

The qualification required for this job: must posses 50% marks in graduation.
The salary: 33,528.


As we all know State Bank of India is the largest bank in India. So the recruitment is high and SBI Probationary Officer pretty awesome post for one who is interested in the Bank sector.

The role of SBI PO is to deal with customer issues, administrative tasks, ATM work, advertisements, etc and work-load is also a lot.

The qualification required for this job: graduate from any recognize university.
The salary of SBI PO depends on location f the the job as it varies from 42,000 to 46,000.


Next is also Probationary Officer in the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). It is the same as SBI PO as described above and also the role for work is as same as the SBI PO.

However, it differs in allowance and some facilities.

The qualification is the same as above.
The salary varies from 39,000 to 41,000.

5. NABARD Grade A & Grade B

National Bank For Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) also has Grade A and Grade B post which are pretty high post in a bank sector with lots of responsibility.

Grade A is Assistant Manager and Grade A is Manager.

Assistant Manager (Grade A) needs to work on various policies and programs related to agriculture development, work given by Chief General Manager.

Manager (Grade B) responsibilities include loan approvals, Customer Relationship, better functioning office, better coordinates with departments, etc.

The qualification for GRADE A is 60% marks in graduation.
The qualification for GRADE B is 50% marks in graduation or chartered Accountant or MBA.

The Salary of GRADE A is 60,000.
The salary of GRADE B is 73,000.


The last one is the clerk job in SBI, IBPS, IBPS RRB banks. The work role is quite similar for all the mentioned banks that tally work, maintenance of Ledger, data-entry, work related to account opening, and some more.

All three banks qualification requirement is same that is graduation from any recognized university.

However, they vary in salaries:
SBI Clerk: Rs. 23,000 to 26,000.
IBPS Clerk: Rs. 22,000 to 25,000.
IBPS RRB Clerk: Rs. 20,000 to 21,000.
