Lower Primary & Upper Primary Teacher District-Wise Posts
1. Assistant Teacher-Lower Primary
Essential Qualification:
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LT-TET and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes.
Or,
At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LT-TET and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
Or,
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LT-TET and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Or,
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP-TET and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).
Or,
Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam LT-TET and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name known) from recognized institution.
Or,
Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with LP-TET and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University.
2. Assistant Teacher-Upper Primary (Social Science)
Essential Qualification:
Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes.
Or,
Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks from UHC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized Institutes/University.
Or,
Graduation with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized Institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
Or,
Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and 1 year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized Institutes/University.
3. Assistant Teacher-Upper Primary (Math’s & Science)
Essential Qualification:
B.Sc. from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes.
Or,
B.Sc. or M.sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized Institutes/Universities.
Or,
B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized Institutions/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
Or,
B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and 1 year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized Institutes/University.
The age limit of SSA Assam TET Teacher Recruitment 2020
The minimum age is 18 years for all candidates and the maximum age is 40 years for the unreserved category, 43 years for OBC/MOBC, and 45 years for SC/STP/STG, and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD0 as on 1st January 2020 as per Government Notification. This relaxation shall be applicable only to those candidates who have attained the necessary educational or other qualifications prior to the crossing of their existing upper age limit of 40 years.

The eligible candidates shall apply online on the website https://ssa.assam.gov.in, link is given below, from 10:00 AM of 27/09/2020 to midnight of 11/10/2020. No offline application will be received.
Documents required to be uploaded in colour:-
- (i) Scanned Passport size Photograph.
- (ii) PDF Copy of HSSLC Mark-sheet.
- (iii) PDF Copy of Graduation Mark-sheet.
- (iv) PDF Copy of Post Graduation Mark-sheet (if any).
- (v) PDF Copy of 2 Year D.El.Ed/B.Ed. Mark-sheet.
- (vi) PDF Copy of Mark-sheet and Certificate of Assam TET.
- (vii) PDF Copy of Caste Certificate (in case of SC/STP/STH/OBC/MOBC).
- (viii) PDF Copy of Certificate of NCC (B or C Certificates), Sports (participation in recognized sports in National Level representing Assam) and Fine Arts and Cultural activities (representing the State officially at the National Level).
- (ix) Candidate with disabilities (PwD) will have to upload a PDF Copy of the Certificate of disabilities issued by the appropriate authority.
- (x) PDF Copy of Certificate of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) issued by appropriate authority.
- (xi) PDF Copy of HSLC Admit Card/Certificate in support of age.
- (xii) Scanned Signature.
